Monitor DNS changes on Google Cloud DNS

Google Cloud’s authoritative DNS for GCP-hosted infrastructure.

Catch Google Cloud DNS DNS changes before they cause problems

A changed A record, a swapped nameserver, or a removed TXT record can take a site down or break email — often without anyone noticing until it’s a problem. Domnr periodically snapshots your domain’s DNS and alerts you when records change, whether the change was intentional or not.

What Domnr watches

  • Record changes — A, AAAA, MX, TXT, NS, CNAME, and SOA, compared against the last snapshot.
  • Nameserver moves — know immediately if a domain stops pointing at Google Cloud DNS.
  • SSL & uptime — paired with certificate and uptime monitoring, so DNS isn’t the only thing you’re watching.
